1)From A27 Venezia/Belluno take the exit of Belluno/Pian di Vedoia and follow Strada Statale 51.
After you go past Longarone and Ponte Cadore, in Tai di Cadore, follow the signs for Auronzo-Comelico (SS 51bis).
Once you are in the town of Lozzo di Cadore, follow the signs for Auronzo (SS 52), after you go past Cima Gogna (SR 48) and the junction to Comelico; Val d'Ansiei will appear surrounded by majestic Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
2)From A22 Modena/Brennero take the exit of Bressanone-Brixen and follow former Strada Statale 49 of Pusteria towards Dobbiaco-Toblach. After you go past Dobbiaco, join Strada Statale 51 Alemagna on the right. Once you are in Carbonin-Schluderbach (junction to Cortina d'Ampezzo), turn left towards Misurina, and descend to Auronzo.
3)From A23 Palmanova/Tarvisio take the exit of Tolmezzo and follow Strada Statale SS 52 Carnica. Once you are in Villa Santina:
follow Strada Regionale 355 towards Sappada and continue towards Santo Stefano. In the town centre, turn left towards Auronzo (SS 52 and SS 48 after the tunnel).
turn left and continue in SS 52 towards Forni di Sopra. Once you pass the top of Passo Mauria and go past Lorenzago and Pelos, keep right at the junction of Ponte Nuovo (SS 52 and SS 48 after you go past Cima Gogna, indications for Auronzo).
4)From Cortina d'Ampezzo:
from the town centre, follow SS48 of the Dolomites (indications for Auronzo Misurina). One you pass the top of Passo Tre Croci, turn left after a few kilometres to reach Misurina or turn right to reach Auronzo.
from the town centre, follow SS 51 Alemagna towards Dobbiaco. One you pass the top of Passo Cimabanche in Carbonin-Schluderbach, turn right and join SS 48bis. You will shortly arrive at Misurina, and then at Auronzo.
from the town centre, follow SS 51 Alemagna towards Venice. After you go past San Vito and the other towns in Valle del Boite, take SS 51bis in Tai di Cadore by following the indications for Auronzo-Comelico. Once you arrive at the town of Lozzo di Cadore, follow the signs for Auronzo (SS 52) and go past Cima Gogna (SR 48) and the junction to Comelico.

The nearest train station is Calalzo-Pieve in Cadore-Cortina, 15 km from Auronzo. Trains come mainly from: • Venice • Padua • Udine (change in Conegliano)

At the railway station in Calalzo, you will find Dolomitbus buses, which link Auronzo to the towns of the province of Belluno.
Auronzo is linked to Misurina by public transport in summer and over Christmas.

From 13.06.15 to 13.09.15, the new Auronzo – Bologna bus service managed by Cortina Express will be available.
Comfortable buses will connect Auronzo with TREVISO, VENICE, ROVIGO, FERRARA, AND BOLOGNA.
This service will be offered from 13.06 to 13.09.
Departures from Auronzo to Treviso, Venice, Rovigo, Ferrara, and Bologna are at 08.00 am.
Departures for Auronzo from Bologna are at 02.45 pm, from Ferrara at 03.20 pm, from Rovigo at 03.40 pm, from Venezia Mestre at 05.00 pm, from Venice airport at 05.15 pm.
